A member of my local community has found herself in a time of need. Her name is Kate, she is 28 years old, and in January 2010 she was diagnosed with with a brain stem glioma, a very aggressive brain tumor. She, her husband Tim, and their three children have always been givers. Now, in their time of need, we are requesting some much needed financial support for them as she begins radiation treatments at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. We are taking orders for shirts for the Carlisle Performance and Style car show (see 2010 P&S post) if anyone is interested. They are Dickies brand button down short sleeved in black embroidered with the SEX logo. Cost is $30 each (pickup at the Carlisle fairgrounds - add an extra $5 to have them shipped to you ahead of time or if you are not attending and just wish to purchase a shirt and help a good cause). Available sizes are S, M. L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL (Size chart). Any profit made after the entire order is complete will be donated to The Kate Fund to help out a worthy cause. Orders must be placed and paid for by 31 March 2010 to allow sufficient time for delivery.
